We had the great opportunity of working on 'What’s Wrong with Simon? An Interprofessional Paediatric Simulation' a virtual clinical simulation video project headed by Paula Mastrilli of the George Brown College Nursing Program, in conjunction with Sick Kids Hospital and The Michener Institute of Education at UHN. The video simulation provides healthcare students and professionals with opportunities to develop knowledge and skill application.
About the video: "This virtual clinical simulation provides health care students and professionals with opportunities to develop knowledge and skill application, critical thinking and problem solving in providing care to a paediatric family in an emergency department. Learners are invited to make decisions in realistic situations and encouraged to try different approaches related to working within an interprofessional care team in responding to a child experiencing a deteriorating respiratory condition."
